Ingredients of Raita Smoothie

  • 2 medium cucumber
  • 2 sprigs mint
  • 3 tablespoon pomegranate seeds
  • 3/4 cup yoghurt (curd)
  • 1 pinch black salt
  • 5 drops lemon juice

How to make Raita Smoothie

Step 1. Wash the veggies and cut them into chunksTo begin with this recipe, wash the veggies and cut them into chunks. In the meantime, extract the pomegranate seeds and keep it aside.

Step 2. Blend it togetherTake a blender, add in all the ingredients and blend it into a smooth drink. Add a couple of ice cubes if too thick.

Step 3. Add the pomegranate seedsIn the end, just add the pomegranate seeds till they are lightly crushed.

Step 4. Serve chilledTake a serving glass, add some crushed ice and pour in the drink. garnish with some mint leaves and pomegranate seeds.

Tips

  1. If you want to add a punch of spice to this raita smoothie add 2 green chillies.
  2. You can also add in some over night soaked oats to make it thick an d heavy.
  3. Add in roasted cumin to enhance the taste.
  4. Lastly, to make more delicious add some ginger and chopped corinader leaves, while blending.
